Eastwood Powder Coat Zinc Rich Primer- 1 LB bag - EW16058
Helps color powder coats bond to the part being coated. While all Eastwood Powder Coats can be applied directly to a bare metal surface without the use of a primer, certain projects demand increased corrosion protection. If your parts will be exposed to a corrosive marine environment or will spend time exclusively outdoors in harsh weather, Eastwood recommends using Zinc Rich Primer before the top coat color to assist with adhesion and corrosion resistance.

**Note for cure time: be sure to monitor your parts closely using the 31223 Non-Contact Infrared Thermometer to be sure your part does not spend more than the required cure time at full temperature. For primers, over curing will affect adhesion of top coats. Over curing on translucent candies can "burn" the color and darken it. Over curing in general will affect long term durability of the coating.
