Wet powder coating method for cast bullets

This is how I coat my lead cast bullets with powder coat. I never had much luck with the dry tumbling method so I tried and eventually came out with this. Many round down the barrel I decided to share it.

  • Great product
Love the look. Looks OK under lights but put it in the sun and it POPS! The ziplock bag the powder comes in is virtually impossible to reseal after the seam is contaminated with powder
  • OEM
Love this powder. I gives projects a great metalic shine. Easy to apply
  • OEM wheel sparkle silver
This works well for refurbishing stock wheel finish's
  • Perfect for a "base coat" when used w/Translucents
Whenever I need to use a Translucent on metals other than chrome or polished aluminum, this is what my customers really like as a base coat, I would not use anything else that is for sure. Works very well as a base coat. I does seem to get on everything when using it but not a problem when you see it after using it with a Translucent color makes any color really pop..................
  • working on my rims!!
Restoring a old car ,my rims looks new after power coating with Sparkle Silver !! very good product!!
  • Perfect match for 2000 Durango wheels...
As an experiment, powdered an already silver wheel from a 2000 Dodge Durango. I found the powder laid down cleanly, uniformly and all around well. Placed into a cold oven and gave it 400deg F for 30 minutes. The results are nearly identical to the factory color the wheels were to begin with. Even side by side I find it very hard to see a difference.
As others have stated, it's not a smooth powder, but I find no problems with that
  • Awesome Color!!
I used this to match some new brackets to the rest of the frame that was done in EW's Aluma-Bladt aerosol several years ago. I can happily say that this coating matched it very closely, plus now I have the added strength of being powder coated. I'll be re-doing the rest of the frame in this color come springtime
  • Finally a true silver
Been trying to find a silver for a while, finally a true silver powder, plenty of metallic, and coats pretty evenlly. Love it and already ordered more!!!
