Wet powder coating method for cast bullets

This is how I coat my lead cast bullets with powder coat. I never had much luck with the dry tumbling method so I tried and eventually came out with this. Many round down the barrel I decided to share it.

  • Great for shake and bake cast bullets
I used this powder for powder coating bullets. It is probably one of the best I have used. Nice, even thick coverage with good adhering with this method. great color.
  • Perfect For Powder Coating Bullets
I bought the Ford Dark Blue on recommendations from a YouTube video. My first try looked great and had a nice coating. Using a tumbler or vibrating device works the best. I know this is not new to the YouTube population, but it is to me due to a friends medical issue with lead. The coating seals the bullets well and is easy and cheap to do. One pound will cover about 4-5,000 bullets. Thanks..
  • Great for lead bullets
Great even coverage if used for lead bullets. Excellent starter color even if you're a chevy guy.
  • Fantastic
I am a Mopar guy, but I am helping a friend with his 67 Mustang. All I use is Eastwood powder. The valve covers front cover, oil pan etc. came out AWESOME. THIS IS IMPORTANT! SO LISTEN UP! The Eastwood Ford Dark Blue High Ceramic Engine Paint is almost a perfect match for this powder. It is off a teeeeeeny bit, but no more than the difference between two cans of rattle paint that came from different batches. I'll post a picture of the engine when we get it completely together. PS, the ceramic engine paint is awesome too.
  • too cool
This has been a great shade for a 1960 Falcon project I am working on
  • Great color
I got this color in a sampler kit and used it on some suspention parts. It is a great dark blue that stands out well against lighter colors
