Wet powder coating method for cast bullets
This is how I coat my lead cast bullets with powder coat. I never had much luck with the dry tumbling method so I tried and eventually came out with this. Many round down the barrel I decided to share it.
I do a lot of powder coating for the car community in my area, and this blue over the chrome base is utterly gorgeous!
I love the way your colors flow I'm just upset at having to pay double shipping when you want a pound instead of just 8 oz
Looks like an electric blue when over a chrome base coat. My first time PCing and very impressed. Used the dual voltage gun. I did a few items with chrome, then Rally Blue over a couple of them.
This was my first attempt at powder coating and I'm extremely pleased with the results. Reasonable prices, fast shipping. Definitely will be doing my own powder coating from now on.
I use this material for a different purpose than most and I was very pleasantly surprised when it ran all over brand X's product.
I've used about 8ozs of this so far and it always has beautiful results. Everything from round tubing to cast aluminum wall decorations (cast aluminum finishes better with a primer). Just be sure to cure the piece at the right temp. Oven temp is not always the same as the surface temp of the metal.!!!
